The challenge
As is the case for all other South Africans, loadshedding started impacting our daily operations and increasing our running costs as a result of prolonged generator use.
What we installed
Deye 8.8 kW smart hybrid inverter
The heart of the system, managing the solar panels, batteries and grid.
5 × Dyness B3 batteries
3.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries, 18 kWh of storage in total.
20 × 460 W JA Solar panels
Monocrystalline panels, 9.2 kWp in total.
Generator integration
Our generator is integrated with the system.
